Jemma Hunter

Jemma Hunter is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. The intensive Integrated Programme encompassed all elements of professional theatre as well as providing training for on-screen acting.

Immediately after graduating, Jemma performed to sell-out audiences in an original work, ‘Hotel America’, before returning to her home country of Scotland to take part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Frantic Redhead Productions. She has worked with Frantic Redhead on many occasions, taking on numerous challenging roles including Mary Queen of Scots and Lady Macbeth.

Since moving to London, she has worked on and off stage with Dark Edge Theatre, appearing in the world premier of ‘Sibling Rivalry’ and assisting in production for Sheila Stephenson's ‘Five Kinds of Silence’ and Neil LaBute's ‘The Shape of Things.’

She also receieved very favourable reviews for her performace as Sarah in ‘The Awkward Date’ with Tortured Soul Productions.

Jemma recently performed in an audio recording of Sibling Rivalry and was delighted to reprise the role of Gusta. This was recorded in front of a live audience and will be available to listen to online this Autumn. For more information or if you have any questions, please contact her.
